Overnight Oats


This might be one of my most fun new recipes to try out. I love oatmeal, so I was immediately intrigued by this idea of overnight oats. I was very pleased with how this on-the-go breakfast turned out! It was so nice to have breakfast ready and in hand as I headed out the door this morning. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!


Here's the recipe:

2/3 cup oats

2/3 cup almond milk

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup fresh blueberries

1/2 cup sliced banana

2 Tbsp honey

1/2 tsp chia seeds

*recipe makes one jar


First, combine oats and cinnamon in the jar. Pour almond milk (or whatever kind of milk is most preferred), and stir ingredients together.


Layer blueberries, sliced bananas, and chia seeds on top. Lastly, drizzle honey over top. Let sealed jars sit overnight and enjoy in the morning!


There are many different combinations for overnight oats, and I am excited to try more versions of this simple recipe. I also encourage y'all to find your favorite recipe and let me know what combos you come up with!
